UPON RECEIVING THIS ADAPTER I NOTICED THAT THE PRONGS ARE SQUARED ON THE ENDS NOT LIKE THE ONE SHOWN. APPLE SUPPLIED THIS WITH MY 3G WHEN I FIRST RECEIVED MY PHONE HOWEVER THEY RECALLED THIS STYLE AND REPLACED IT WITH ONE THAT IS SLIGHTLY TAPERED ON THE ENDS, SAYING THAT THE SQUARE PRONGS WAS NOT SAFE TO USE. THE PICTURE CLEARLY SHOWS THE NEW VERSION AND SO IT IS DECEPTIVE. NO WONDER THE PRICE WAS LESS THAN HALF THE CORRECT VERSION.

Please don’t buy this!!!
Like everyone owning an iphone, I didn’t want to pay the $20+ to replace the adapter I lost, big mistake. This thing simply doesn’t work. I plug it in and it either buzzes off and on until I unplug it, or just once and doesn’t ever charge. It is worthless, just like the company that sells it. You have been warned.
